Q. How do I get a job at the library?

Answer

At the beginning of each semester, the library begins the process of hiring new student workers. To apply for one of these positions, you must have an approved resume uploaded to UIS Career Connect. Once the job is posted on Career Connect, follow the instructions to apply. 

In addition to applying on Career Connect, you must also fill out a paper application at the Brookens Library table at the Foot in the Door Fair for the Fall Semester, or at one of the library's independent job tables in the Spring.

After you have applied for the job both in-person and on Career Connect, the library will contact you with further information regarding interviews if you are invited. All students are made aware when the position has been filled.
